How You Can Help

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Peter Zippi Memorial Fund! As a cat-only rescue based inside of an animal hospital in Hermosa Beach, CA, we extend a warm welcome to adult volunteers aged 18 and above. Our flexible schedule includes weekdays, evenings, and Saturdays.

• Adoption Counselor: Help potential adopters find their perfect feline companion, creating forever homes and opening up space for more rescues.
• Cat and Kitten Caregiver: Join us in providing essential care to our feline friends and maintaining shelter cleanliness. Current Open Shifts are limited to Saturday 10-12 and Sunday 3-5.
• Volunteer Coordinator: Assist with Volunteer scheduling, communications, and ensuring a positive volunteer experience.
• Social Media Coordinator: Utilize your social media savvy to help promote our events and programs and engage with our community.
• Fundraising Event Coordinator: Manage events or assist with planning of events and support marketing efforts to further our mission.

If these opportunities don’t align with your skills, we’d love to hear how you can contribute! Behavioral assessments, cat pawsitive training, designing our annual reports and other communication materials, grant writing, or other talents are always welcome.
